If you are a teacher, you probably grade all of your classroom homework before you have time to help your own kids with their homework. If you are in construction, the repairs at your house take three times as long as they do for everyone else. It is the same for me. The moments that I most want to capture of my family often pass me by. But this year, on her birthday I started planning pictures early, two months early to be exact. Guess what happened by the time the date rolled around? I planned and God laughed. Then my ten year old son and his memory of all things, reminded me last time I was at The Varsity, I complimented the view and said it would make great pictures. That kid. Thank God, I brought a few things for him along too because he earned his place in the spotlight he created.
